Molly and Clint’s engagement session in good old Deep Ellum

It’s hard to predict the personalities of the people we end up working with, take Molly and Clint for example… 15 mins after being in front of the camera they got comfortable, cracking joke, laughing and smiling the whole time.  Another great session – looking forward to that wedding at the end of the year!

It’s slowly getting there – Thank you so much for your patience!

I was out of the scene for several weeks, I just HAD to get Lasik – got tired of wearing glasses or getting dust in my eyes while wearing contacts and trying to look through my camera all at the same time.  I did it for YOU!!!  Haha… and maybe a big part of it was for me too.. hehe.  Anyhow, I’m back and will be bringing my Blog up to date and back to life.  I still have about a year’s worth of images to get on here ~ Thank you all so much for your support and client referrals – Keep checking back for more!!!

Let me know if you’re interested in Lasik too!  I get a referral fee!

A bit of Corporate activity on camera

With photography, I meet a lot of people, and with meeting a lot of people, I get all types of referrals which leads to other types of photography!  It’s nice to take a break and relax a bit from the wedding and portrait situations and just work with people in the while THEY’RE at work for a change!  Here are a few shots from a company photo session I did, meet Protegga, they specialize in computer forensics and e-Discovery.  Extracting deleted data from iPads, iPhones and HardDrives?!  Wow, it was very interesting stuff that they do there, go check them out at: http://www.protegga.com

Ben and Vivian’s traditional engagement ceremony

It’s rare to meet a couple that met each other since High School, usually it’s from college,  a friend or family introduction, or maybe even from some random run-in at the grocery store.  It’s even more rare when the photographer knows both the bride and groom from High School.. haha.  Meet Ben & Vivian, share their special day when their two families officially become one.  The meet, tea ceremony, bride and her family receive all the gifts the groom’s side can carry.  Here are a couple moments from their day…

A family portrait for the Holidays

We did a quick family session for a family that has a love for dogs.  The holidays are are just around the corner and we couldn’t say no to a family with a dog with lung cancer.  ”Freckles” (the white mixed dog in the pictures), was lucky enough to be rescued by a loving family that took her on trips and smothered with attention everyday.  A couple shots to share.

The shot right above is her partner in crime, “Copper”.  Two really sweet dogs sitting patiently for us while we snap away with our cameras!
